Learner Consent Terms
By selecting Agree, you hereby authorise that the Printing Industries Federation of South Africa NPC (hereafter referred to as the Printing SA) may publish photographs taken of you, your name and likeness (hereafter referred to as the images) for use in Printing SA’s print, online or video-based marketing materials as well as other company publications.
You hereby also release and hold harmless Printing SA from any reasonable expectation of privacy and confidentiality associated with the publication of the images.
You also further acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and that you will not receive any financial compensation of any type associated with the publication of the images or participation in Printing SA marketing materials and other publications.
You also acknowledge and agree that you have no rights of ownership or entitlement to any royalties associated with the publications of the images.
Lastly, you hereby grant release to Printing SA, its contractors, its employees and any third parties involved in the creation or publication of marketing materials from any liability and or claims made in connection with your participation.
Permission to Process Personal Information
In terms of the POPI Act, a ‘Responsible Party’ (in this case being the Printing Industries Federation of South Africa NPC, hereafter referred to as the ‘company’) has a legal duty to process a ‘Data Subject’s’ Personal Information (in this case being the Learners’ personal information and related details) in a lawful, legitimate and responsible manner. To discharge this duty, the company requires the Learners’ expressed and informed permission to process his/her Personal Information.
Learner Consent and Permission to process personal information:
By selecting Accept, you as the Learner, hereby give permission to the company to process the personal information provided, and acknowledge that you understand the following purposes for which it is required and for which it will be used:
You also understand that the withholding of or failure to disclose personal information will adversely affect the companies’ ability to perform its function and or to provide services for your benefit.
Where you have shared personal information of individuals other than yourself with the company, you hereby provide consent on their behalf to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information in accordance with this consent provided and you warrant that you are authorised to give this consent on their behalf.
To this end, you indemnify and hold the Company harmless in respect of any claims by any other person on whose behalf you have consented, against the company should they claim that you were not so authorised.
You understand that in terms of the POPI Act, and other laws of the country, there are instances where your expressed consent is not necessary in order to permit the processing of personal information, which may be related to police investigations, litigation or when personal information is publicly available.
Lastly, you will not hold the company responsible for any improper or unauthorised use of personal information that is beyond its reasonable control.
Cancellation Policy
By selecting Cancel, you, being the Employer/representative of the aforementioned delegate(s) take full responsibility for the payment of the total course fee prior to the commencement of this course.
You also further agree to pay the full course fee in respect of any delegate cancellation provided less than 3 working days before the scheduled start of the course.
