Learn the fundamental concepts and skills needed to create visual communications using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design Brand IDs, posters, leaflets, brochures and more. Begin with Illustrator and learn logo construction approach, text formatting, preparation and output of layouts for leaflets, business stationery and other marketing material, then move on to Photoshop and learn about image multi-layer compositing, photographic retouching and effects. You will further learn about design principles such as composition, typography, colour theory, and layout to create aesthetically pleasing content.

This course is aimed at individuals and small to medium business operators, or employees, wishing to gain fundamental graphic design skills and an understanding of design processes and best practice implementation. These design skills can be used to produce effective content for general print and digital media purposes.

Should you require assistance with installing and setting up the Adobe software on your PC, you can come through to our main training lab in Morningside, Durban or we can provide you with virtual assistance.
